Submissions are due by noon GMT (5 p.m. ET) tomorrow, March 4, 2014.

Good news, Traffic Tamer App Challenge participants: you're almost at the finish line!

Once again, the deadline is noon London time (or 5 p.m. ET) next Tuesday, March 4, 2014. (International entrants: find out what time that is in your city.) 

As you finalize your application, we encourage you to refer to a previous update containing the submission checklist & video tips.

If you haven't started yet, or don't know where to begin, explore the quick-start guide, get some inspiration from the app ideas section, and pretend you're heading into a week-long hackathon.

Save your draft today

Just four weeks remain in the Traffic Tamer App Challenge!

We highly recommend that you start your submission and save it as a draft today, even if you don't have everything quite ready yet. This will give you a good idea of what's needed for qualification, and allow for ample time to perfect your submission. (Saved drafts can be edited up until the deadline.)

Until now, you've been focused on building an awesome app. But don't forget about your submission video. It's often the first thing that judges and voters review.

Good news! The Traffic Tamer App Challenge submission deadline has been extended to March 4th.

Please take a minute to tell us where you are in the submission process.

If you have any questions which are holding you back, please check out our Frequently Asked Questions, post on the Discussions Forum, or drop us a line.

As a reminder, apps must benefit London drivers, commuters, and pedestrians – but are not required to use any specific data integrations, SDKs, or APIs.

Halfway there!

Thank you for participating in the Traffic Tamer App Challenge! We're just about halfway through the submission period and apps are due by January 15, 2014 at 5pm EDT. With $25,000 in cash & prizes at stake, this is not a deadline you want to miss.

We recently added an iPhone 5 to our suite of testing devices. This affects developers who plan to submit an iOS app that will not be available on the app store before the competition deadline.
