Target resolution

I just skimmed through the general principles for in-vehicle interfaces but I could not find the expected resolution for the app.

Should we target mobile devices or tablet devices? Also, if we could get a specific resolution, that would be great - While the attempt will be to provide a responsive interface, knowing the target resolution would certainly help...

  Hi callmekatootie,

  Because your app can be built for a range of different platforms/devices, there is no required resolution or preferred screen size. Please just design for whichever of the eligible platforms/devices you're developing on: iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Web (desktop or mobile), Window PC, Mac.
